Inter Milan are one of the Italian clubs badly hit by the aftermath of the coronavirus pandemic and despite winning the Serie A title last season, Inter Milan announced a record loss of €245m.
Inter Milan recouped £167.5m from the sale of Achraf Hakimi to PSG and Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea but none was enough to pull the club out of their difficult financial situation.
The club ended their 26 years shirt sponsorship with Pirelli tyres and said goodbye to one of sports greatest partnerships by winning the Italian Serie A. The club then announced shirt partnerships with four different companies; Socios.com, Lenovo, Zytara Labs, and DigitalBits and will earn €26m from the partnerships.
The deal with Zytara Labs and DigitalBits is worth €85m for four years. According to Sempre Inter, the total revenues from shirt sponsors will be €26 million, while in 2023 this will rise to €29 million, and then €31 million and €30 million in 2024 and 2025 respectively.
