Scandal at FC Barcelona after a confidential document was leaked and passed over Ronald Koeman

Everything gets worse and worse at FC Barcelona. The club is financially in a bad situation, the first team is not getting good results, there has been some conflicts regarding the elections to finally have place in March, and now a top secret document within the club was leaked to the press.

And in that document there are instructions of what should happen with some players of the first team. Normally, this is something that is up to the manager, Ronald Koeman, but he will be 'suggested' that he has to get rid of these players named in the paper, and that are the orders of the current board.

The report, written by the member of the board Ramon Planes, asked for an out for Samuel Umititi, Junior Firpo and Neto Murara. It also encouraged the promotion to the first team for the left back Alejandro Balde, so the club can save a lot of money in wages without those expensive players in the bench.

Umtiti was once one of the best defenders around, but he suffered severe injuries and was never the same again. Firpo is a back up for Jordi Alba and is not playing frequently, and Neto had asked to leave before, but Ronald Koeman made him stay anyway because he wanted him to be there if Marc-Andre ter Stegen, the keeper chosen for all the competitions had an injury. This last case will create a clash of interests between the board and the manager.
