The LA Galaxy is experiencing its worst crisis since 2008 and LA Galaxy fans have already called for Barros Schelotto's resignation. The LA Galaxy owners would be looking to former club player Robbie Keane to be the new coach. Keane is an idol in the LA Galaxy and it would be the first time he has taken over a team as a coach.

The fans want someone as a coach who knows the values of the LA Galaxy and who better than Robbie Keane for that. The former Tottenham, Leeds and Liverpool player played 5 seasons in the LA Galaxy where he scored 83 goals in 125 games. During those years, Keane managed to win the MLS Cup three times.

While Keane was never the head coach of a professional team yet, he has coaching experience. For two years he was assistant coach of the Republic of Ireland. Both Keane and the LA Galaxy fans are very excited about this idea. If his arrival does come to fruition, it's a big move on the part of the LA Galaxy owners.

LA Galaxy's second all-time top scorer, behind Landon Donovan, will be challenged to turn a losing team into a winner. Nowadays LA Galaxy is a very scared team that plays football very badly even though it has a very high budget. Keane will have a great challenge at the helm of LA Galaxy and will have to show that in addition to being a great player, he can be a great coach
