Ronald Koeman says he supports Lionel Messi but look the friend of the Argentinian that he could axe from the team
The Dutch coach is thinking of sending out a legend from FC Barcelona, friend of Messi.
FC Barcelona is going through a year of changes and new airs. President Josep María Bartomeu had to leave the club and his successor will be decided on elections that will be celebrated in December. Lionel Messi wanted to leave during the last transfer window and may be making so during the next summer.
The new head coach Ronald Koeman tried to make new changed in the team, such as axing historic players as Luis Suárez. But that may be not the only one made, as the Dutch trainer is preparing a new important change, as Spanish press reports. The new axed player could be Sergio Busquets.
Busi played all his career in Barcelona, since he was a youth formed in La Masía. He has a contract remaining with the club until June 2023, when he will be 35 years old. After that, he is thinking on initiating his career as a head coach. But Koeman has other plans before the end of his times as a player.
Koeman is seriously thinking on axing Busquet and placing Miralem Pjanic in his place. The Bosnian aged 30 arrived to the club in a polemic transfer on a barter with Juventus for Arthur plus money. Now, he may be having his great change after five matches played with good performances, sending out an historical player friend of Messi.
