Chivas experienced a conflictive campaign this year, as they didn’t earn good results and suffered for the problems that their players brought outside the field. The team coached by Víctor Vucetich finished seventh on the tournament Guard1anes, after earning 26 points on 17 matches, and will play against Necaxa this Saturday on the repêchage.

But Vucetich, as well as sport adviser Ricardo Peláez, are already working on who could be the signings for the next season. The coach thinks that a goalkeeper is seriously needed, after a year in which Raúl Gudiño didn’t perform very well and was the responsible for many bad results of the Rebaño Sagrado.

There are already some keepers on Chivas radars, as Gil Alcalá or Rodolfo Cota, and that is why Gudiño knows that he is near to leave than to stay. Everything will be defined during the next weeks, but it seems to be a decision from the coach. Gudiño said that he is not yet thinking when he will play the next season, as he is focused on the match on Saturday.

Since a young, the Mexican keeper aged 24 has been playing for Chivas. He was loaned at Porto, Uniao Madeira and APOEL FC before returning to the club on July 2018. Since then, he defended the posts during 46 matches, receiving 61 goals and maintaining 11 clean sheets. Actually, he has a reported value of $1 million and that is what he may cost.
