Problems awaiting Xavi: see how many Barcelona players are injured

It is no longer news that the era of Ronald Koeman at Barcelona has ended and he has been replaced by Barcelona B manager Sergi Bajuan who has led Barcelona to three games, winning one and drawing the other two.

Xavi was announced as new Barcelona manager on Friday and and will be unveiled on Monday. Xavi knew the difficulty in the work he was coming to as it would involve taking big steps and using little to achieve more.

In Sergi Bajuan's final game before the arrival of Xavi Barcelona surrendered a 3-0 first half lead to Celta Vigo to settle for a 3-3 draw in the pulsating encounter. Barcelona also recorded three casualties with youngsters Ansu Fati, Eric Garcia and Nico Gonzalez all limped off with injuries.

Barcelona now has 11 players on the injury list. Sergino Dest, Gerard Pique, Sergi Roberto, Pedri, Martin Braithwaite and Ousmane Dembele are all having different injuries, backup goalkeeper Neto is out with fever while Sergio Aguero is out due to heart problem.
