Been transferred to Europe is the dream every Mexican player has since he is a child. They know that with a transfer to a European team comes the money and, most importantly, the calling to the Mexican national team. In addition, every player wants to be the new Hugo Sánchez or Rafael Márquez.

Back in 2008 a young Mexican standout from Pachuca started to earn a name for himself after great performances at his team and at the youth divisions of the Mexican national team.

Therefore, at just 15 years old Eddy Vallejo was bought by Mallorca, of the Spaniard La Liga. He then turned to be the youngest Mexican player to be transferred to Europe. Non-the-less, the negotiation went wrong because the paperwork done by both Pachuca and Mallorca had many mistakes.

After that episode Vallejo left football. Almost 12 years later "San Cadilla" revealed that he now sells ice cream for a living in his hometown Durango. All the expectations and hopes put on him fell apart because of a legal problem between Pachuca and Mallorca.
