LA Galaxy is already thinking on what will be happening with the squad, after a terrible season. The team won’t make it to the playoffs zone, as there are just two games remaining for them, and they are six points away from the last position to qualify. After this, there will be a new start.

Guillermo Barros Schelotto has already been sacked as a head coach and many figures may leave the team. Chicharito Hernández, the club best paid player, may be leaving as well. The Mexican attacker scored no goals after nine appearances this season and the club could let him out.

The MLS side is thinking on letting him go for free, ending his contract unilaterally. After all, there were always many teams interested in him, but with these awful level things have changed. Chivas has always been a team that was waiting for his comeback, but nowadays they don’t want him either.

As it was reported by the Mexican press, both president Amaury Vergara and sport adviser Ricardo Peláez consider that paying a salary as the one that Chicharito earns for a player at his actual level has no sense. His actual contract at the MLS make him gain $6 million per year, a fortune that Chivas don’t want to pay him at his 32 years.
