Barcelona's preparing for the following season. After the official announcement of the three new signings (Sergio Agüero, Emerson Royal and Eric García) and the possible arrival of other reinforcements, he is obliged to give way to several names to lighten the squad in terms of both the number of professionals and the salary issue.

For that, and as detailed by the Spanish newspaper La Vanguardia, the culé leadership will ask Ronald Koeman for help, who was recently ratified in the position of coach, so that he fulfills the same role that he exercised when the decision was made to dispense with Luis Suárez under the presidency of Josep Maria Bartomeu.

The Dutch coach, who at the time told the Uruguayan by telephone that he was not going to be taken into account, will now have to do the same in this transfer market with some players who will have few or no minutes in the next season.

Miralem Pjanic

As reported by the Catalan media, there will be seven footballers with whom Barcelona will be able to make cash. The first is Miralem Pjanic, who arrived from Juventus in the last market but could not adapt to the Barça game and practically did not count for Koeman. Without going any further, his last game as a starter was on February 24.

Matheus Fernandes

The second on the list is the Brazilian Matheus Fernandes, who went practically unnoticed by the Dutchman and who even had some controversial statements at the end of May in which he thought that Koeman had something personal against him: “I only played 17 minutes and no I understand why. I don't know what's going on in the head of the coach”, he lamented in dialogue with Mundo Deportivo.

Junior Firpo

Another of those who will not have the minutes he wants is Junior Firpo. The Dominican didn't have much participation last season and only started seven games.

Norberto Neto

The substitute goalkeeper, Norberto Neto would have already expressed to the club his desire to go out after seeing how he was losing weight within the squad. With Marc André Ter Stegen as the undisputed starter, the Brazilian would only see minutes in the Copa del Rey, however that did not happen either as Koeman decided to line up the German to secure the goal in what was Barcelona's only title of the season.

Samuel Umtiti

With the addition of young defender Eric García, the chances that Samuel Umtiti would have to show why he is a world champion would also be practically ruled out. The center-back has up to five names ahead of him despite being at the institution for five years.

Martin Braithwaite and Philippe Coutinho

Finally, Martin Braithwaite and Philippe Coutinho would also have the hours counted as Barça players. While the Danish forward already sees his continuity in danger after the arrival of Agüero and the possible new reinforcement of Memphis Depay, the former Liverpool suffered a series of injuries that prevented him from trying to regain the level that he demonstrated in the English box. The exit from him would be a good source of income at the economic level.
