Cruz Azul was defeated after two incredible games against Pumas UNAM. The team coached by Roberto Siboldi won 4-0 the first game, but lost the second one and ended eliminated of the tournament Guard1anes that they were fighting to win. After that matches a scandal exploded at the club.
The Argentinian attacker Milton Caraglio accused Siboldi for not making him play as much as he wants to, saying that the coach doesn’t trust him. During the Liga MX, the forward started just three matches for his team, completed 330 minutes on 10 games and score no goals.
Jonathan Rodríguez and Santiago Giménez were better options for Siboldi this year and that is why the attacker exploded. His contract lasts until June 2021 so its probable that, if things are not solved soon, he may leave. Cruz Azul invested $6 million on July 2018 when signing him from Atlas.
Caraglio played 73 matches since his arrival to Cruz Azul, with a result of 25 goals and five assists. After his statements, local press reported that the player could be returning to Argentina as Rosario Central wants him back. That is the club that formed the player and where he had 49 appearances with 11 goals.
