Mikel Arteta sent an ultimatum to Mesut Ozil after the controversial statements of his agent

Mesut Özil is a wonderful player with a lot of history, he has incredible stats on every team he ever played. Only in Arsenal, he scored 47 goals and gave 70 assists in 227 games. Although, his situation with the club is not good right now and is a matter of time until he leaves.

Ozil’s agent Dr Erjut Sogut accused Mikel Arteta of not telling the truth to the player. The midfielder played his last match for Arsenal almost eight months ago and for the player and his agent, the situation was not clear. Apparently, the player career will remain frozen until he sign for another club.

Arteta answered to this saying that it was a lie. And he also told the player that if he want to be a leader, he has to be honest and the fans and the players will have to trust you. Özil is no longer a player in which Arteta can rely on, he is not in the list neither for the Premier League nor for the Europa League.

So, the only question that it is not answered is where will he go? He cannot stay at a club that do not appreciate him, he is having this controversial talks with the manager and the fans are no longer showing him support. Maybe the MLS, maybe another European club, but he has to leave.
