Barcelona secured the signing of Memphis Depay, who became the fourth Barça reinforcement with a view to next season. A day after the official announcement, the first statements came from the Dutchman, who is concentrating with his team in the European Championship.

"Hello everybody. I am Memphis. Finally, it is official. I have signed for Barcelona and I am very excited. Signing for the biggest club in the world and the best fans is a dream come true"said Depay, through a video that the entity posted on Twitter.

Memphis Depay, in his statement, highlighted to the culé fans: “I really want to play in front of the fans in a full stadium. Barcelona fans are very special because of the way they live and feel football. He loves soccer. I really want to play in front of such a crowd ”.

On the other hand, the 27-year-old attacker thanked the parties that made his signing possible. "I want to thank my signing to the president, the board of directors and the coach of Barcelona for making the agreement possible, together with Olympique de Lyon," he said.

“I am very excited and proud, I am going to give everything for the club. I'm ready. Visca Barça! ”, Concluded Depay, who after the contract with Lyon ends, will sign for Barcelona until the end of the 2022-23 season.
