
Manchester United football club is one of the biggest clubs in England and arguably the biggest club in the Premier League era with 13 trophies won and have won the title three consecutive times twice.
Sir Alex Ferguson who spent 27years as manager of the club achieved all these records for the Manchester club before he retired in 2013. Manchester United won three consecutive trophies twice, first in 1998–99, 1999–2000, 2000–01 seasons and second in 2006–07, 2007–08, 2008–09.
The largest number of points by a champion is held by Manchester United city rivals Manchester City who won the 2017/18 title with 100 points and also hold the record of largest margin of points as champions with 19 over Manchester United who had 81 points in the same season.
The most number of points without winning the league is by another Manchester United rival Liverpool who had 97 points in the 2018/19 season and came second to Manchester City who had 98 points.
Manchester United is one of the six teams who have played all 29 Premier League seasons, the others being Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and Everton but Manchester United have the most wins (690) and fewests losses (180) and have the most points won with 2,141.
