After what was a string of poor results, Ole Solskjaer's continuity seems to hinge on the immediate future. In weeks that will be key, with extremely complex matches ahead, the Norwegian coach will play his position on the Manchester United bench. However, rumors about his possible replacements have already begun to emerge.

The first to top the list is an old acquaintance from the Premier League. It is about the former champion, like DT, Antonio Conte. The Italian, who is currently without a club after his stint at Inter Milan, is poised to be the next manager to sit on the Old Trafford bench. Conte had his time in England when he managed Chelsea between 2016 and 2018, a club with which he became champion of the Premier League and also of the FA Cup

The other coach on United's radar is Zinedine Zidane, recently linked to Newcastle. The Frenchman, who is also without a team after his last stint at Real Madrid, is another of Manchester United's great interests in the event of confirming Solskjær's departure. The former Real Madrid, if he arrived, would meet Cristiano Ronaldo again.

The other managers appearing as possible candidates for Manchester United's bench are Graham Potter and Erik ten Hag. The first is the current technical director of Brighton & Hove Albion. And the second, the one in charge of repositioning Ajax, in the foreground of Europe, since his arrival at the Netherlands team.
