The expectation is not the same without Lionel Messi. Before the pandemic, getting a ticket for the Camp Nou was a rather complicated task, especially with the partners ahead. However, this has changed for the start of the 2021-22 season, in which FC Barcelona will return to play with the public in their stands after long 17 months due to restrictions due to COVID-19.

Now, there are plenty of tickets. The reason? The absence of Rosario. Barcelona has reported this Friday that the new measures of the PROCICAT (Government) will allow a maximum of 22,000 people to be at the Camp Nou for the debut in LaLiga Santander against Real Sociedad, a figure that will not be reached anyway.

"Despite the authorization of 30% of the capacity of the stadium, which would mean about 30,000 spectators, the requirement to maintain a meter and a half of distance between people or groups of people who have tickets, forces to reduce this number of fans ”, commented the club.

The final number of fans will depend on the maximum number and size of the bubble groups that can be located at the Camp Nou - each subscriber could request up to 6 tickets in the same bubble - and could range between 20,000 or 22,000 spectators. In any case, the paid members of the Blaugrana fiefdom had requested only 15,280 tickets of the 30,000 initially available. For this reason, the club has put 2,500 tickets on sale for members without subscription and fans until the limited capacity for this first match is completed.
