Fed up with his situation, FC Barcelona decided that Samuel Umtiti left the club, in whatever way (sale or termination). After a meeting of the Blaugrana board of directors, Joan Laporta decided to give a devastating ultimatum to the French defender, who is criticized by all the fans and who, in order not to lose his salary of 13 million euros, rejected offers from many clubs in Europe.

After refusing to leave FC Barcelona and release the salary bill, the club decided to clarify the situation: they have two months to get an offer and leave or FC Barcelona will terminate their formal unilateral contract. But the reality is that the French defender was not silent and in his Instragam he was blunt: "The more you respect people, the more they disrespect you. People don't know, but everyone is allowed to speak."

It would not be the first time that Laporta does something like this because a couple of months ago, he did the same with the contract of Matheus Fernandes, who ended up being fired from the club.

Throughout these weeks, Samuel Umtiti had offers from Olympique de Lyon, Benfica and even Juventus. However, no one can pay the 13 million euros that Umtiti earns and the defender has not yielded a bit to facilitate the exit.
