Bayern Munich cruised to a 5-2 victory over Benfica to maintain their 100% record to their Champions League season. The win also ensured that they qualified to the knockout stages of the competition they have won six times and won recently in 2020.

Juventus put their domestic woes aside and hammered Russian side Zenit St Petersburg 4-2 to also maintain their perfect start to the Champions League season and also ensured their qualification to the knockout stages of the competition.

Until today, both teams were yet to concede a goal but conceded two each. Bayern Munich need at least a point from their remaining games to top their group while Juventus need a result against Chelsea to top the group.

The two clubs having qualified for the next round will earned a sum of £9.1m for qualification while they will also receive £2.4m for a win each and with their four wins so far they have earned £9.6m, should they lose their remaining two matches, they will still earn £18.7m.
