A few years ago, PSG, which was sponsored by the Emirates airline, gave its move to ALL, which is the loyalty program of the Accor hotel group. The Parisians received more than 55 million Euros for this deal, which would put them below the 70 million Euros paid by Emirates to appear on the shirt of Real Madrid, the number 1 in this matter.

The presence of the Jordan brand instead of Nike on the edition of the shirt caused surprise at first but then fascination. The Paris Saint Germain has two sports brands sponsoring it: Nike and Jordan Brand. It should be noted that Nike owns Jordan Brand although they are two different brands.

How much does PSG earn per season by wearing Jordan?

Nike has been dressing the club since 1989, being one of the longest sports/commercial relationships in European soccer. In 2019 they renewed their agreement until 2032 for a figure of €80 million per season. This was a historic agreement for the French side, which was beginning to gain popularity outside France.

Jordan's relationship with the French city is much older; it goes back to 1985, when Michael Jordan visited Paris on his tour with the Chicago Bulls. But it became official when the first Jordan Brand store in Europe was opened in the French capital (2016).

Subsequently, a partnership between the French basketball league and the company was announced in 2017. In addition, the Nike brand is responsible for supporting the world's largest streetball tournament, Quai 54, which is played in Paris.

Neymar's signing with Jordan (2016), before he arrived at the club, was crucial to the partnership. When the Brazilian arrived at Paris Saint-Germain he debuted new footwear sponsored by the brand, this was to the liking of some of the club's partners. As a result, they approached the Nike sub-brand determined to take PSG to another level and the deal was born. This made it the only soccer club in the world with Jordan Brand sponsorship on its jersey.
