England yet again ran riot against harmless San Marino, putting 10 goals through them. It rained goals tonight at the San Marino stadium, Serravalle, San Marino.

However, this is not the Three Lions highest scoring match as they have had it better before. Their biggest victory was against the Republic of Ireland on the 18th of February 1882, the most interesting thing is that it was away just as tonight's game.

England's grand win against San Marino secured their spot at the next year FIFA World Cup in Qatar. England opened the game with a goal from England defender Harry Maguire in the sixth minute.

It was followed by an own goal a few minutes later. Harry Kane scored four goals before half time out of which two were from the spot. Debutant Emile Smith Rowe found the back of the net on his first outing for the senior team. A goal each from Tyrone Mings, Tammy Abraham and Bukayo Saka completed the tally.
