Despite this Real Madrid spent a fortune on the reconstruction of Santiago Bernabeu. An estimated sum of £700m was spent on the just concluded redevelopment of the stadium to meet up with the recent state of the club.

The 73 year old stadium needs to meet up with the reputation of the club, Real Madrid wants to turn it to a state of art that will attract tourists to the capital of Madrid.

One would expect with this Real Madrid will be quiet in the next summer transfer market but reverse is the case as they should be top of the list of potential big spenders in the coming transfer window with the list of stars on their watch list.

They are willing to go out all the way to bring the two most expensive footballers to Madrid next summer. Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland are top of their target list. Followed by Manchester United Paul Pogba, Chelsea Antonio Rudiger and AS Monaco youngsters Aurelian Tchouameni. All these players will cost Madrid a fortune should they go ahead to bring them to Santiago Bernabeu and you can only wonder how they plan to do that.
