Inter got a late draw against Borussia Monchengladbach in their UEFA Champions League opening game at Giusseppe Meazza. Inter was unable to display good football during the whole game and critics rain over Antonio Conte once again. One of the main reasons for the critics is that the coach didn't benched Christian Eriksen although the Danish was playing a hideous game. On the other side, Eriksen is done with Inter and plays to accept an offer to be transferred once again this winter.

The club behind Eriksen is Paris Saint-Germain. The French giant, which got to the UEFA Champions League final last season, is on a debate around letting Marco Verrati, their oldest squad player, join FC Barcelona. The replacement for the Italian would be Eriksen, who should cost too much as he is looking to leave Inter. At list, not too much for the richest club in the world.

Eriksen's tenure at Inter started bad from the beginning. Firstly, Inter wasn't Eriksen's preferred destination. Back in June 2019 Real Madrid, Tottenham, Manchester United and Sporting Club Portugal got together to arrange a three-way trade that would have placed Bruno Fernandes at Tottenham, Eriksen at Manchester United, and Paul Pogba at Real Madrid. But conversations collapsed because teams didn't find common ground over the price tag of each player, and so none of the was brave enough to pull the trigger and see if the rest of the operations moved.

After that failed trade Eriksen's relationship with Tottenham's front office broke up. He said he wouldn't be extending his contract with the club -set to be expired at June of this year- and threaten that if he wasn't transferred at January 2020 he would leave for free at he middle of the year.

Inter took the risk, pay just 20 million euros for a extraordinary footballer and handed him a massive contract. But Christian Eriksen clearly isn't an easy boy. The Danish played bad almost the whole year no matter how much Inter pays him, and both Conte and the fans seems to have had enough.

Meanwhile, PSG appeard to need a playmaker just like Christian Eriksen. The French club is meditating about handling an offer to Inter for the midfielder. Of course, that will depend mostly on if Barcelona avance on Marco Verratti. But there's a possibility and Eriksen seems to be on board. Day after day, the Danish seems to be further from San Siro.
