Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea are clearly the best team in the Premier League this season after another team effort helped them to a 3-0 victory over Saudi Arabia backed Newcastle United at St. James Park.

After last season's Champions League win, Thomas Tuchel vowed to haunt Liverpool and Manchester City who have dominated the league recently and after just 10 games in the season, to say the Blues are the best in the league would not be an overstatement.

Chelsea were without their two recognised strikers Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku again but there was no problem as the goals came from other sources as it has come this season. Defender Reece James scored two tickets and Jorginho converted a penalty to win it, all happening within 15 second half minutes.

Chelsea extended their lead at the top of the table after Manchester City were beaten 2-0 by Crystal and Liverpool drew 2-2 at home to Brighton. Chelsea are on 25 points, three above Liverpool in second, they've scored 26 goals, three behind Liverpool who have scored 29 and have also conceded the fewest goals with three, have seven clean sheets.
