Kylian Mbappé is clearly the fastest soccer player in the world. The French attacker has shown his great skills since very young and an undeniable capacity to run with the ball in his feet. It was registered that the French wonder kid made a sprint that reached the 36 kilometers per hour, marking an historical record.
Uriel Antuna is probably one of the Liga MX faster players. That we could already affirm it some months ago, even before knowing the stats. But these days it was reported that the Mexican forward registered a run at 35.7 kilometers per hour, being the second faster player in the whole world, just after Mbappé.
The stat was recorded by the Center of Innovation and Technology (CITEC) from Liga MX. Players use a GPS that measure all their movements on the field and this number from Antuna was known during the victory of Chivas against Club America on tournament Guard1anes quarter-finals.
Knowing his conditions, there are many teams in Europe interested in such a player. Antuna was formed in Santos Laguna then moved to Manchester City, FC Groningen, LA Galaxy and finally Chivas. His return to one of the sides he was once at is not wild, knowing his conditions and the moment he is going through.
