Rayados de Monterrey beat Argentine coach Santiago Solari's Águilas del América 1-0 on Thursday and won their fifth Concacaf Champions League title. Since their stadium was inaugurated in 2015, they have not been able to win just one duel of nine disputed: the regios were left with six and drew twice.

Santiago Solari and his America, undoubtedly became the best team in all of MLS. However, like everything in life, they have their weaknesses. In this case, it is attributed to Monterrey, a club that is always one step ahead, at least in recent years.

It should be noted that in decisive duels, America has not been able to beat Monterrey. They faced each other in definitions since 2015 (3), all for Liguilla and with victory for Rayados in two semifinals and one final.

Today, both stories repeated themselves. America again fell to someone with whom it cannot in decisive instances, and from a time until now, they have got used to seeing each other in finals. The truth is that the local again shouted champion in their stadium, nothing more and nothing less than one of their main rivals.
