This week European giants Manchester United and AC Milan faced each other for the first leg of the UEFA Europa League's Round of 16. But the center of attention this time is not the top clubs but Swedish star Zlatan Ibrahimovic who -among others- got to play for this two teams along his career.
Zlatan Ibrahimović is one of the most controversial sports characters due to his public appearances, for example, when he had an argument with Duván Zapata in the middle of the game. Despite this, the Swede has an admirable sports career and has gone through various clubs such as Barcelona or Inter.
Likewise, the 39-year-old has been important in Manchester United and Milan, two historic teams that in recent years have not had the desired role in their respective leagues; It is even said that this meeting is a classic of the UEFA Champions League due to the large number of continental titles of each one.

At Manchester United, according to figures from the book ‘Football Leaks: The Dirty Business of Football’, collected by media such as Sky Sports or Goal, Ibrahimović earned “19.11 million pounds”, approximately 21 million euros per season. In his second stint at Milan (current club), the Swede receives 7 million euros per season, according to statistics from La Gazzetta dello Sport, collected by Diario AS, for the 2020-2021 season.
