Tuchel and Klopp: how the two German Premier League managers compare in fortunes

Liverpool appointed Jürgen Klopp in 2015 and has enjoyed success at Merseyside, he won the Champions League in 2019 and won Liverpool's first Premier League title in 2020, their first top flight title in 30 years.

He renewed his contract after winning the Premier League with a huge salary of $12m per year making him one of the highest earning managers in the league and in Europe and he has a net worth of about $50m majorly from salary, endorsement and investments.

Another German manager in the Premier League is Chelsea's Thomas Tuchel who joined the club in January after club legend Frank Lampard was sacked and won the Champions League in the first four months at the club and helped the club to top four.

He initially signed an eighteen months contract worth $6.8m but after winning the Champions League signed another contract worth $13.7m per year until 2024. He reportedly has a net worth less than $15m, which will surely increase with his new Chelsea contract.

Klopp having more money than Tuchel is no surprise, he had a longer playing career after Tuchel's career was cut short by injury and has been managing since 2001. Tuchel replaced Klopp at Mainz 05 and at Dortmund and acknowledges Klopp a lot.
