Tottenham's defeat in the UEFA Europa League shook the club. The team suffered a comeback from Dinamo Zagreb in the second leg (0-3), with a 2-0 favor in the first leg. This placed manager José Mourinho as the top favorite to be the next to leave his post in the English Premier League. The problem? A considerable amount of money that the club would have to pay him if this makes concrete.

However, his contract, which still has more than two years of validity, and his settlement, do not invite to think about a possible early exit. It turns out that Tottenham agreed to a stratospheric salary for the Portuguese coach, when he came to replace the Argentine Mauricio Pochettino in the position.

The Portuguese will receive about 19 million pounds for each of his seasons in North London. One of the best paid in the Premier, along with Jürgen Klopp, from Liverpool, and Pep Guardiola, from Manchester City. In total, a dismissal would cost the "Spurs" no less than 40 million euros. As it happened to Manchester United and previously to Chelsea, Tottenham did not include any clause that would make Mourinho's dismissal cheaper, according to the English press.

This would imply reaching an agreement with the Portuguese, who already demonstrated in his time at Real Madrid that he is little given to deals, or paying him full compensation. The Portuguese, in addition to satisfying the cameras by going to applaud the Dinamo players in their dressing room, strongly criticized his own. In the Premier, they march eighth three points from fifth place that gives them the classification for the next Europa League, and six units from fourth, that means a place in the next Champions League. Meanwhile, he will also play the final of the League Cup, on April 24, but will have his black beast in front of him: Pep Guardiola.
