The unknown fortune that PSG won Mauricio Pochettino in less than a month

 Mauricio Pochettino decided to accept the challenged and signed with Paris Saint-Germain as the new manager in the start of 2021. The Argentine head coach arrived to replace Tomas Tuchel and with the clear objective of winning the Champions League title for their first time ever.

Poche signed as the best paid trainer in the history of the Parisian side, as he earns more than $550,000 monthly, a fortune that none of his predecessors gained. But he is not only gaining that fortune from the French club, but also another one that he didn’t have in his previous time as a manager.

When he arrived to PSG, he opened an Instagram account, as part of an arrangement with the club. In his 26 days, Pochettino (@pochettino on the social media) has gained 262,000 followers and follows just 37 users. Slowly, he keeps on growing in the platform and that will give him the possibility to sign sponsorships and gained millions, as top soccer stars do on Instagram.

Pochettino started his managerial career in RCD Espanyol and then passed to Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur. Even though he was free since November 2019, president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and sport adviser Leonardo considered he was the indicated one and signed him a contract until June 2022. In PSG he played since 2001 to 2003 and was the captain of the team.
