The MLS has brought some great players during the last years and is still set to incorporate some more. One of the top talented players that may be arriving the league soon is André-Pierre Gignac. The French attacker is currently playing for Tigres UANL on Liga MX but may move soon.

According to different sources, Tigres could be offered a fortune for Gignac. There are two MLS sides interested on signing him: LA Galaxy and LAFC. Gignac arrived Tigres for free so any move that leaves some money to the club may be considered nowadays, with his contract ending on June 2021.

LA Galaxy are looking for a no. 9 after a very bad season of Chicharito Hernández and Gignac could be the one. LAFC are in talks to sell Diego Rossi, their young MLS Golden Boot winner who has received very good offers and will not be retained any longer by this club. As well as Carlos Vela experienced some injury problems and may be in doubt in what’s coming on.

Gignac could also earn a fortune is he leaves to the MLS. His current contract with Tigres is of $4.5 millions per year, while at the U.S. league that amount may increase to $6 million, to be one of the best paid players in the whole league with Gonzalo Higuaín. Everything will be defined in the next days, after watching if Gignac finally renew his contract with the Mexican side, or he doesn’t.
