As we announced at El Futbolero a several days ago, Nashville SC was behind striker Jhonder Cadiz. Finally, the new MLS franchise reached an agreement with Benfica from Portugal to adquire him. The Venezuelan will arrive to the MLS on loan with a 500,000 euros transfer fee. But also, the Tennessee's State team would have the chance to fully buy him in a millionaire price.
Cadiz signed for Benfica last year but never had the chance to make his debut. Instead, he went on loan in France to play for Dijon at the Ligue 1 where he scored four goals in 22 matches across all tournaments played. As a consequence, Nashville SC appeared in the market for immediate goal-scoring help,
Negotiations weren't clear since they'd started. However, the expansion team arrived to an agreement for a six month loan with possibility for a permanent transfer. In the case Nashville decides to buy him, they will have to spend almos 2.5 million euros in order to adquiring him.
