LAFC didn’t have a very good end of the season. The team coached by Bob Bradley lost against Seattle Sounders on the first round of the MLS Cup Playoffs and ended once again disqualified of a tournament that they are trying to achieve since their very first time in the competition.

But Bradley is already working on how the squad could be improved for the next season. Carlos Vela is set to be once again the star of the side from Los Angeles during the next campaign and the club is trying to surround him as well as possible to compete for the title.

Considering that some young talents, as Diego Rossi or Brian Rodríguez, could leave, it is also interesting to watch who the signings could be. One of those who is being linked to LAFC is Rogelio Funes Mori, the Argentinian attacker who plays for Monterrey since July 2015 and is 29 years old.

With a contract remaining until June 2024 it will be hard for him to leave the Liga MX side, but at LAFC they think they could convince him. The actual reported value of the attacker stands on $7 million, according to specialized website Transfermarkt, and we may assure that Monterrey could be asking even a bit more for him.
