The astronomical offer that PSG has prepared to make Sergio Ramos
The French team wants to convince the Real Madrid captain of joining as a free agent, and will make him an offer impossible to reject.
Sergio Ramos was supposed to sign his contract extension with Real Madrid and stay in the club he has defended for more than 15 years. But the offer he has on the table is not convincing, and his future is uncertain. Paris Saint-Germain wants to take advantage of the situation and sign Ramos as a free agent for next season.
That is because he was offered 12 million euros per year on wages, but the extension was only for one year, as the defender and captain, as his brother and agent asked, wanted two. Florentino Perez will not oblige and the PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi plans to do something about that.
According to El Chiringuito, Ramos will be handed an empty check. That means, he will literally choose his salary and the duration of his contract. PSG want to give him total freedom so he is convinced of signing for them, and will offer him what his current club cannot or does not want to.
As said, the defender has been told by the French club that the idea is to assemble a great team with him and Lionel Messi, so it would not be surprising that the Argentinian gets the same treatment. Florentino Perez will have to decide between his own ego or keeping the player with the most leadership qualities in the world.
