Philadelphia Union had an incredible regular season in which they ended in the first position of the Eastern Conference, after earning 47 points out of 23 matches played. Now they are waiting for a rival on the MLS Cup Playoffs, and they will be facing the lower seeded play-in winner.

The reason of the great results obtained was in great part due to the work of some young talents that the club has. Brenden Aaronson, Mark McKenzie and Kai Wagner are three players who gave a lot to the MLS side. Aaronson already moved to Red Bull Salzburg, while McKenzie and Wagner are still waiting for their chances to move.

The Premier League side is seriously considering on signing him and could make a good bid for him. Wagner played for SSV Ulm, FC Augsburg, Schalke 04 and Wurzburger, before arriving to the MLS on February 2019. Now he could be moving in a record transfer for him, after the interest of West Ham.
