The MLS players that Carlos Vela could buy with the fortune that LAFC pays him

Carlos Vela has formed an empire after a very successful career in soccer. Even though he recognized any times that playing soccer is not the thing that he loves the most, he earned an incredible amount of money doing it. As if it was necessary, during his last years at LAFC he increased even more his salary.

In total, specialized media from the U.S. report that Vela has a patrimony of more than $25 million. This comes from all the money he earned in his career. Just to start, we need to say that the Mexican idol moved more than $27 million on transfers, being the wealthiest those made from Chivas to Arsenal ($5 million), Arsenal to Real Sociedad ($17 million) and Real Sociedad to LAFC ($7 million).

To add, we have the salary that Vela had for playing 12 years at Europe, one at Chivas and the last ones at Los Angeles. In the MLS he is the fourth best paid player, with a salary of $6.3 million per year.

There are just three players on the U.S. league who earn more money than the attacker and those are Gonzalo Higuaín, Michael Bradley and Jozy Altidore. The fortune that Vela has would be able to buy almost all of the LAFC squad together. There are just some exceptions to young talented players valued very high, as Diego Rossi or Brian Rodríguez who couldn’t be included.
