In 2018, Ronaldo Nazario started his career as a soccer businessman and bought the majorityof the shares of Real Valladolid, in La Liga.  He holds the 72.% of the shares and has great plans for the club in the future. But better, he can afford planning for the future because he made the club get a lot of money.

The marketing area earned 13 million euros, six more than the club was used to his arrival, and with that extra money there have been investments in the stadium. There has been also a record of shirt sales and sponsorship deals. For the squad, the intention of the World Cup winner is to take advantage of the pandemic buying players at a cheaper price.

Real Valladolid reached that improvement on income because of Ronaldo and his image. Everybody follow him so people will follow the club. He attracts new fans and sponsors just with his face and his name. And he has the idea of building a training ground with that extra money, securing the development of the club.

The team is currently struggling to stay at La Liga and not get relegated. Just in doing so, they will get a bigger amount of money for TV rights that would help the club immensely. Ronaldo has done wonders since he bought the club. And things only seem to get better and better.
