Phil Foden is one of the best young players in the Premier League and is a first team regular for Manchester City under Pep Guardiola. His current salary contract was his first professional contract he signed in 2018 and was placed on a modest wage of £12,000 and the deal will expire in 2024.

The club is however willing to offer the youngster a new contract as a reward for his performances in Pep Guardiola's team. He will reportedly be offered a new contract of six years and an astronomical weekly wage of £150,000 which will make him the highest paid young player in the league.

Cristiano Ronaldo joined Manchester United in 2003 at the age of 18 and at the age of 21, he was already a household name in Europe, he won his first Ballon d'Or in 2008 at the age of 23 but his salary then was £120,000 very much lesser to what Manchester United are offering Phil Foden.

Cristiano Ronaldo rejoined Manchester United at the beginning of the new Premier League season and is rightfully the highest paid player in the league with a salary of £480,000. He is the richest footballer and currently makes more money than his salary from his Instagram account which has over 350m followers.
