It is expected that Sergio Agüero will depart Manchester City by the end of the current season. His contract with the club is finishing by June 30 and it seems quite likely that he does not go for a renewal. The last time in which he extended his relationship with the team he got promised that he would be released if that was his desire. And it seems that will happen.

As such, the English club’s board will soon and certainly have to look for options in the transfer market. And to replace a star of such caliber, one thing is certain: it will not be cheap at all. It is a suspected that Manchester City would be willing to spend €200 million for a new striker. And of course, the first names are already coming up.

Borussia Dortmund start Erling Braut Haaland could be Pep Guardiola’s big dream, the 20-year-old from Norway could be the big shocking move in the transfer market for next season. But he is not alone in the list. According to some sources the other target is in Milan since Internazionale’s Romelu Lukaku could also be a candidate.

According to transfer markets the price of the Norwegian would rise to €100 million, €10 million more than the Belgian. Should Holland arrive to Manchester it would prove an amazing profit for the German club who acquired him from Red Bull Salzburg in just €20 million barely a year ago. Inter paid a lot more: €75 million for Lukaku from Manchester United.
