Norwegian striker Erling Haaland is currently the world's most sought after striker in the world right now with many top clubs already inquiring about his services and will go to a transfer war to sign him. At 21, he represents the future of whichever club could beat others to his signature.

Haaland joined Borussia Dortmund in January 2020 from Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg and has matured into the finest finisher in the world and currently has more goals than games played for the German club leading to influx of transfer interest from top European clubs.

Chelsea tested Borussia Dortmund's resolve last summer with a £130m but the deal was claimed to be complicated and did not happen. According to verified reports, Haaland has a release clause of £68m which would become active next summer, which makes it absolutely ridiculous that Dortmund rejected Chelsea's offer.

Multiple reports in the English and German media have now emerged that Haaland wants a salary of £30m per season which would make him the highest paid player in the Premier League if he joins, ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo who earns £26.5m. Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City are the clubs interested in him in England.
