Expecting to see Sergio Ramos, Lionel Messi or Kylian Mbappé leaving to another club? Well, wait for summer transfer market. But as per the just-closed winter one, there have been some incredible movements and remarkably interesting deals. The world health situation that outbroke in 2020 has led to a quite conservative transfer rate, but still, worth to know about.

After being tipped as Eastern Europe’s new rising star, Dominik Szoboszlai finally left Red Bull Salzburg…. To sign for Red Bull Leipzig. The 20-year-old Hungarian midfielder has a market value of $30.25 million. The German club acquired him in $24.2 million and signed a contract until June 2025.

Second place has two players tied on $36.3 million as their reported market value. We’ll put Sebastien Haller ahead because he was bought. Ajax paid $27 million to West Ham United for the Ivorian striker. With equal value on the market, Moussa Dembelé was loaned to Atlético de Madrid from Olympique Lyon. The Spanish club paid $1.8 million for the operation.

Norway’s hope Martin Odegaard had a little conflict with Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane after his spell on loan at Real Sociedad. Arsenal FC was needing a replacement for Mesut Özil, who departed to Turkey’s Fenerbahce and gave a phone call. The 22-year-old moved for over $2 million on loan to the London side, but his transfer market value is $48 million.
