Gerard Piqué has been one of the most important players from FC Barcelona during the last decades. The defender was formed in La Masía and left the club just to play at Manchester United and Real Zaragoza. He feels very identified with the club and the culture of the city, and that is why he always chose to stay there.

During his 34 years old, that he has just celebrated, Piqué has been investing all the money that Barcelona paid him to make new businesses. Fantasy soccer, sports, games, tennis, holdings, properties and gastronomy are just some industries in which the international star has been spending his fortune.

When making a comparison, we can see that the path followed by Piqué is one very similar to the one David Beckham did on his days. The English retired from professional soccer in 2013, after leaving Paris Saint-Germain and made many investments, as properties, shareholding and more, even though the more famous one was buying Inter Miami.

Their careers were not so different, as Piqué plays for Barcelona and did it in the past for Zaragoza, while Beckham played for Real Madrid, AC Milan, LA Galaxy and PSG, but they both played for Manchester United. Piqué just during three seasons while Beckham from 1993 to 2003.
