Manchester City and Pep Guardiola have a dream: Erling Braut Haaland. The Norwegian is scoring goals in every kind of way at Borussia Dortmund and could be the perfect replacement for Sergio Agüero. Despite his transfer would not be cheap, the English club is willing to sign him at any cost. And their offer could be difficult to reject.

Haaland has played 21 games in 2020-21 season, scoring no less than 22 goals and assisting five more. Unless there is a last-minute surprise, Agüero is set to end his contract on June 30 and leave the club immediately after. The Norwegian’s stats are more than attractive to find the perfect asset in him.

According to Daily Mirror, Manchester City is willing to offer £100 million, which would equal $137 million. His contract with Borussia Dortmund includes a release clause of €75 million, or $90.75 million, which will be active only in 2022. But also, there is a contract ongoing which allegedly reports Haaland €8 million ($9.68 million) per year.

Then, the English club could be willing to triple that figure and increase his salary to $29 million. Haaland would move to the club in which his father, Alf Inge Haaland, retired from soccer in 2001 after receiving a serious tackle from Manchester United legend Roy Keane, who later was suspended for many months.
