Chelsea finalizes signing of this Premier League star

As reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have reached an agreement with Leeds United for the signing of Raphinha in this summer transfer window. The official offer from the blue side was £60-65 million with variables included and the main part of the payment will be made immediately.

Chelsea are in talks with the Brazilian player to close the deal on personal terms and his contract. Boehly, the club's new chairman, is responsible for the Blue involvement in the agreement.

The Brazilian player was a famous name in this summer’s transfer window. Other clubs interested in acquiring his services were FC Barcelona, Arsenal and Tottenham. It was Chelsea finally won the bidding.

Raphinha will become the Blue's first signing for next season. The Brazilian will arrive to boost the offensive front line with the departure of Romelu Lukaku (loaned to Inter Milan) and the imminent sales of Pulisic, Werner and Ziyech. Last season, despite Leeds United's collective poor performance, he scored 11 goals and dished out 3 assists in 35 Premier League games.
