Inter Miami has become a force in the MLS since they brought in Lionel Messi and his former FC Barcelona teammates Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, and Luis Suarez. San Diego FC is a brand new MLS team that will soon debut in the league. This new expansion team will become the MLS' 30th club in the league, and big names are already linked to the club, which could compete against Messi's Inter Miami. HITC Football reports that San Diego FC is ready to launch an audacious bid to sign Kevin De Bruyne from Man City. POSTA Deportes reports that the new MLS club is also interested in bringing in Neymar, and Marca reports that the club also wants Mexican legend Guillermo 'Memo' Ochoa.

Ochoa is planned to be the closest out of the three players who are rumored to join the new Californian club. The Mexican goalkeeper could become the club captain for the first team in the club's history, and there are even rumors that another Mexican legend could be involved. Real Madrid legend Hugo Sanchez could become the manager of San Diego FC.

De Bruyne and Neymar's contracts with their respective clubs expire in the summer of 2025, which would make it easier for San Diego FC to sign them as free agents. Neymar looks likely not to stay at his current club any longer since the Brazilian has been linked to other clubs like Inter Miami and Santos in Brazil. De Bruyne is still one of the best players in the world, and Manchester City will most likely want to extend his contract to stay a few years longer. The possibility of both players arriving in the MLS is slim, but it is not impossible.

Sergio Ramos has also become an option to join San Diego FC

San Diego FC will debut next year in the MLS, but it has shown big aspirations for their first season. Guillermo Rai from the Athletic reports that Real Madrid legend Sergio Ramos is in advanced talks with San Diego FC from the MLS. Ramos is unlikely to stay at Sevilla FC as his contract expires this summer.
