Sport reports Roberto De Zerbi wants to renew Ansu Fati's loan for another year at Brighton. De Zerbi believes that Ansu Fati is a 'sleeping giant' and wants to wake him up. Barcelona are expected to look for a new loan spell for Ansu Fati.

Fati won't be sold on a permanent deal since he signed a renewal contract that expires in 2027. Last season, Fati played 36 matches, and he started in 12 for FC Barcelona. He scored seven goals and provided three assists. Fati's renewal could affect another player in the current Barcelona squad.
