Luis Enrique is a legend for FC Barcelona as a player and coach. He won the treble in the 2014/2015 season with Barcelona, but now the Spanish manager is with PSG. Enrique is managing his forest season with PSG, and some could say it has been a success so far. PSG is 1st in Ligue 1 with 59 points, and this has guided them to the quarterfinals for the Champions League. Enrique and PSG will come up against FC Barcelona, which will be difficult for Enrique personally, but is focused on making sure that PSG advances. Enrique was live streaming on Twitch to chat with football fans, and he admitted which players from FC Barcelona would slot into his PSG team.

The FC Barcelona game is special to Luis Enrique as he will return to his club, but this time, he will be a rival with PSG. When asked if he would return to Barcelona, he said, "I've always said that I want to return to Barça, but I don't think our paths align right now. They're looking for a manager right now, but I promised to fulfill my contract, and the people here trust me. I won't break that promise; it doesn't go with me."

When asked which players could start on his current PSG team, Luis Enrique gave seven names and said they wouldn't just make his team, but other elite teams in Europe. Enrique said, "Seven of their players: Ter Stegen, Araujo, Kounde, De Jong, Gündogan, Lamine Yamal and Lewandowski. Not only at PSG, but also at City, Bayern, and Arsenal." Enrique made Barcelona fans even happier when he said, "The good thing is that [if] we lost; at least my club wins."

Mundo Deportivo spoke with FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta. When he was asked about Luis Enrique potentially replacing Xavi at the end of the season. Laporta said, "I like Luis Enrique, he's very good, but we didn't speak to him or any other coach as we respect Xavi."
