This summer transfer window will be a busy one for PSG. It will likely start off with the departure of their best player, Kylian Mbappé, who is likely to join Real Madrid. The French star has reportedly agreed to his salary with Real Madrid, and a few details, like image rights compensation, are all that is left to make the deal official. While that happens, PSG plans to sign star players this summer to build a strong attack in the absence of Mbappé. PSG was planning to sign Victor Osimhen and Rafael Leao, but now the club could potentially look in a different direction.

The attack for PSG will be soulless almost since Mbappé has been the leading goalscorer by a huge margin. Mbappé has 24 goals in Ligue 1 this season, with the second goalscorer being Randal Kolo Muani with six goals. PSG is ready to splash the cash and has reportedly looked at a Liverpool attacker. Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna reported that Luis Diaz is PSG’s priority target to improve their attack this summer. First contact with his agent has already been made, but Liverpool’s position is he’s not for sale.

RMC Sport reported that it was Luis Diaz’s entourage that actually offered him to PSG. The French side does have him as one of the options for this summer, but it is hard to imagine Liverpool wanting less than $86 million for him. The Colombian winger joined Liverpool in January 2022 and has operated on the left wing for the Reds. He recently played a few games on the right side in the absence of Mohamed Salah.
