Not the Premier League, the league Jose Mourinho hints at coaching next

Jose Mourinho is one of the greatest managers in football history. The Portuguese manager has won many titles with big clubs like Real Madrid, Inter Milan, and Chelsea. Mourinho's latest job was in Italy with AS Roma, and things looked great at first as he led them to reach the UEFA Europa Conference League Final in 2022. Roma defeated Feyenoord 1-0 to win their first trophy in 11 years. Last season, Mourinho guided Roma to another European final, but this time, it was in the Europa League. Roma did not win that final as it ended 1-1, and the Spanish side won 4-1 on penalties. From there, it all went downhill.

In early January, Roma had many inconsistent results throughout all competitions. Roma had enough of Mourinho after their 1-0 loss to Lazio in the Coppa Italia and a Serie A loss to AC Milan that ended 3-1. Daniele De Rossi has since taken over, and Roma looks better under him this season. Roma are currently 5th in the Serie A and are only three points behind Bologna in 4th place, which is an automatic Champions League spot.

Jose Mourinho was upset about how things went with Roma and has been looking for a new team, but not for this season. Mourinho has hinted that he could potentially coach in Saudi Arabia after spending time there for three sporting events that including F1 racing, boxing, and football. Mourinho has spoken recently about his future and makes football fans happy that he wants to continue coaching and not retire. Mourinho hints that his next destination is in Portugal.

Jose Mourinho says that he wants to coach this summer

In an interview with Ge Globo, Mourinho said, "I don't have a club; I'm free. But I want to work in the summer, I want to work. Portuguese team? Never say no, especially in football. My life is football, I can coach anywhere and I have no problems."
