Manchester United have been looking to sign a striker that could deliver for them on the pitch. After a poor start, Rasmus Hojlund was in the Premier League. Hojlund did not score in his first 15 Premier League with Man United. After these poor performances in the league, the club was desperate to sign another striker in January. Now, in the last five games, Hojlund has scored five goals and provided two assists. Despite his bright form, the club still would like another striker since Anthony Martial might be leaving the club at the end of the season.

Florian Plettenberg from Sky Sports Germany reports that Manchester United are interested in signing Mathys Tel and have made contact for the first time. Two other English clubs have also inquired about the Frenchman. Despite his difficult situation, Tel doesn't want to give up, and his goal is to become a legend at FC Bayern. However, If he feels Bayern doesn't believe in him in the future, he will consider his options and a loan move is not one of them.

Sky Sports Germany also reports that Bayern wants to sign a new striker in the summer to replace Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, as the Cameroonian is likely to leave the club when his contract expires. Therefore, the competitive situation would remain big for Mathys Tel.
