Chelsea took the lead two times in the game, but Burnley responded with equalizers, and the game ended 2-2. Chelsea is 12th in the Premier League table with 40 points, and now the team will play against Manchester United tomorrow. Pochettino was not shy about expressing what he thought his players lacked, and he sent a message to them ahead of the rest of the season.

Pochettino talked about the player's effort during games, and he said, "If you want to win games, it's not only to play well with the ball. We cannot be an exhibition team to enjoy. That is why I was upset and disappointed after the Burnley game, because of course we tried to play, create chances, but after we need to run because we are at Chelsea."
Pochettino continues as he says, "We are Chelsea, but we need to behave like Chelsea. If we want to belong to a big club, it's not an excuse to be young or an experienced player, we need to behave because in the end, we need to defend our badge and to play for our club. I think we are the youngest team in the best five leagues in Europe. That is one thing, another is with all the circumstances, we didn't get the results we deserved. That is the process and the realistic moment we need to accept."

Conor Gallagher was heavily criticized over the weekend after a video showed him ignoring a kid who wanted to shake his hand. Some fans stated that Gallagher was racist since he shook the hand of a white boy but ignored the black kid.
Chelsea published a statement about this incident and it read, "Chelsea Football Club is aware of a video clip circulating on social media from Saturday’s fixture against Burnley, which has been taken considerably out of context. The subsequent level of abuse and defamatory comments directed towards Conor Gallagher is completely unacceptable. We are proud to be a diverse, inclusive club where people from all cultures, communities, and identities feel welcome."
