Chelsea fans furious after the club owner Todd Boehly speaks on the project

Cheslea co-owner Todd Boehly talked with Forbes about the club about the process.

Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly makes Cheslea fans angry as he might stay longer at the club than expected.

Chelsea fans have been upset with the team's performances for a while since the club finished 12th last season in the Premier League with 44 points and are now 11th in this season's Premier League campaign with 40 points. The club has spent over $1 billion since American businessman Todd Boehly became a co-owner of the club last year. Boehly is also the co-owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers, but even though he has lots of money to invest in the club, the fans have not been a fan of his. The fans are not happy with how the club is run due to irresponsible spending, and now the club could face an FFP breach.

Chelsea fans want the club to spend big on the transfer windows, but now, the overspending they have done has still not helped the team perform in the Premier League; many fans want Todd Boehly out of the club because of his lack of knowledge about football and most things about the culture of the club. Boehly has spoken about the fans' displeasure and addressed the club's current situation. Boehly's words did not make Chelsea fans calmer and, in fact, infuriated them even more.

Boehly spoke with Forbes about Chelsea and said, "The good news is people care so much. And the bad news is people care so much! That leads to times when they’re frustrated with the team and the owners. I get that, but we just have to continue to stay the course. We just need to let the process develop and give them the time to go from being unbelievable individual players with great skills to fold into a team."
